"Shut Up" Ringtone For Hugo Chavez
What would you do if you hear one political leader tells another one to shut up? Have a good laugh? Ignore it? You can do better than that.
A week ago on a summit in Chile Spanish King Juan Carlos lost his temper when Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez continuously interrupted the speakers.
"Why don't you shut up" is now a #1 hit in Spain, with more than 2M ringtone (made from this sentence) downloads made in a matter of a couple of days.
Actually, this ringtone exists in multiple versions: the 'official' version sold by content providers is a 'covertone', i.e. the same phrase said
by a different person - distributed in MP3, AAC or AMR format (depending on the phone, of course). The original quote is only available to users
who recorded and then manually edited the audio clip.
So next time Mr Bush says something incredibly smart - be sure to record it and set as your favorite ringtone.

Funny Ringtone Stories
- According to Red Herring, birds in Germany started to imitate popular ringtones confusing them for the songs of other species of birds. So don't be surprised if a bird sitting on a tree in your backyard sounds like a Crazy Frog: it's the bird, not you, who needs the mental state checked.

Personality of a ringtone user
There's a common misconception that you can tell somebody's personality by his/her ringtone. Well, if it's a Moantone, then probably this person
has an immature sense of humor and an urgent need to shock someone, but what can you say about a person who puts 50 Cent as a ringtone? Or Metallica?
Trying to analyze a person by her ringtone is like trying to assess her IQ solely by a shape of her skull or by her height. It gives you a bunch of theories,
but no "one-fits-all" answer. Here's what others think:
Psychologist Graham Wilson believes that your choice of ringtones can reveal more about yourself that you might think. For example, young people choose popular music to show they fit in. An aggresive young professional may choose an action movie or tv show theme because they have no real action or drama in their lives. And people who don't choose ringtones at all view their phones a purely functional items and are too busy to download or choose a custom ringtone. This very scientific research is just another reason should set their phone to vibrate most of the time.
You can tell only one thing for sure: if you hear a farttone or a groantone on a business meeting, its owner is either a manager (CEO?) or
just [stupid?] excited about the new technology. Some people believe that putting classical music on their phones helps them to look serious and respectable.
Most others don't agree with this notion.
